FESPA announces the conference programme and expert tour times for its new Colour L*A*B* feature at this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo, designed to help visitors review and improve colour management practices in their print businesses. MPS: Another EF Symjet hybrid press sale

The award-winning Canadian printer ASL Print FX has invested in an MPS EF Symjet hybrid flexo-inkjet press for their manufacturing plant located in California’s famous Napa Valley wine region. Ordered was a hybrid combination of an MPS EF flexo press with an integrated 7-colour Domino N610i digital inkjet unit. The sale marks their first hybrid press investment for fast turnaround printing of wine labels.

Durst / Koenig & Bauer: Joint venture signed

Durst and Koenig & Bauer signed a 50/50 joint venture agreement in Munich on Wednesday, April 10. The signing of the agreement paves the way for the joint development and marketing of single-pass digital printing systems for the folding carton and corrugated fiberboard industry. The antitrust clearance that is still required from the relevant antitrust authorities before "Koenig & Bauer Durst GmbH" can be officially established is expected to be granted in the next few weeks.

Xeikon Café Europe: Almost 1.000 attendees

Xeikon Café Europe 2019 once again proves to be a leading event in the packaging industry’s calendar. Asahi Photoproducts signs Dis-Trade

Asahi Photoproducts, a pioneer in flexographic photopolymer plate development, recently reported that Moscow-based Dis-Trade has signed up as an official distributor of Asahi flexographic plates in Russia. The company, which has five employees, has extensive experience in flexographic printing. The agreement gives Dis-Trade the right to distribute the full range of Asahi plates across the entire country.
