Polish label producer Arti-Bau adds Xeikon's UV inkjet solution for increased flexibility

Arti-Bau is a fast-developing label printing business in the lower Silesia region of Poland with its head office in Sleza. From the beginning of its business activity the company has invested in the most modern solutions for digital inkjet printing. We asked Monika Stefanska, the chairperson of the board, about the company's most recent purchase of the technologically advanced Xeikon PX3000 model.

In collaboration with Voith Paper, Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS) is introducing a new measuring method to detect unwanted tacky contaminants known as stickies. The measuring method, which uses a near-infrared (NIR) camera, allows the reliable detection of contaminants along the papermaking process and offers higher measuring accuracy and a wider range of applications compared to conventional methods. The associated technical rule was recently published as DIN SPEC 6745.

Color-Logic certifies HP Latex R-Series printers

Color-Logic has certified those HP Latex R-Series printers that are delivered with HP White ink. Upon reviewing the certification samples submitted, Richard Ainge, Color-Logic CTO and CoFounder, commented: “The samples were printed on a metallic stock with HP White and CMYK inks. International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Vinda Personal Care (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. to supply a stock preparation system to feed its four tissue machines at the mill in Yangjiang, Guangdong, China. Start-up is scheduled for the second to third quarter of 2021.
