Stylish Framing in White Oak

Whether graphics, photography or watercolors - works of art bring rooms to life and let them tell a story. Wooden frames underline the uniqueness of the works of art with their individual grain. Oak is the new trend wood - both in the interior sector and for framing pictures. In addition to the natural oak and black wooden strips, HALBE-Rahmen now offers the popular white oak wooden strip not only in profile width 10, but now also in profile widths 16 and 22 up to the format 140 x 250 cm. With the slightly visible grain, the pure white frame looks natural and allows the motif to take precedence visually.

White - the versatile trend color

White is timeless and never goes out of fashion. It reflects light more than any other color. Interior designers and fashion designers love white because of its purity and versatility. In nature, the color exists in many beautiful shades. White has been present at the interior trade fairs in Milan, Paris and Bologna for years. It is the perfect basis for a stylish ambience that exudes elegance and trend awareness at the same time. The best thing about it - white always fits.

When it comes to framing works of art, white is an "all-round genius". In a white frame, colorful motifs often appear even more intense. With black and white pictures, the image contrast is deliberately emphasized because the white frame increases the perspective depth effect, i.e. all light image areas stand out more from the dark areas. On a colored wall, a white-framed work of art with predominantly light image content is a "star" in the truest sense of the word. Whether architecture, landscape or portrait representation - white frames give motifs of various genres a strong appearance without competing with them.

Magnetic frame in white oak - elegant and stylish appearance

Wooden frames not only look fantastic due to their characteristic grain, but also radiate a certain warmth. For several years now, oak has been the first choice both in the interior sector and when staging pictures. In addition to the popular solid wood strips in natural oak and black, HALBE-Rahmen introduced a pure white oak strip Wood 10 just over a year ago - which corresponds to a frame width of 13 mm.

The oak is painted in a beautiful bright white color. The elegant wood grain shimmers slightly through the white varnish and can be experienced haptically. The elegant solid wood strip quickly became an insider tip among art lovers, as it optimally shows off many works of art on pure white FineArt papers or bright white photo papers. The frame does not impose itself on the viewer, but rather recedes modestly into the background.

New: White oak wood strip in profile widths 16 and 22

The imagery is full of emotion and passion. Small picture details are often the icing on the cake, which only catch the viewer's eye when framed correctly. In general, picture strips for small-format works of art should not be too wide and bulky. With larger pictures, things are often different, where the frame can be more opulent - the professionals at HALBE Rahmen also know this. HALBE Rahmen is therefore now offering the popular clear white oak wood strip in two additional profile widths.

For small to large - the 16 wood profile corresponds to a frame width of 17 mm and is a good choice if you want a strip with pleasant proportions. It is ideal for works of art up to 120 x 140 cm. The 22mm profile wood offers additional volume thanks to its width of 22 mm and depth of 40 mm and gives frames and pictures an impressive three-dimensional effect on the wall. The strip is perfect for large formats up to 140 x 250 cm. Extraordinary works of art often require an impressive frame - from now on, the 22mm profile width is also available for distance magnetic frames, which have a distance of 20 mm from the glass and enable a floating frame.

Passepartout: White is not always white

No matter how big a work of art is - art connoisseurs like to use a passepartout as a classic stylistic device to enhance the pictures. A white or old white passepartout board in certified museum quality goes perfectly with the white oak wood strip. A natural white passepartout board, on the other hand, has a light cream-colored nuance that literally clashes with the bright white color of the strip. A 3D sculpture can be displayed floating in a white oak spacer frame with white background cardboard and white spacers - that is pure art.
