17 Global Goals of the UN

In 2015, the world's heads of state and government agreed on 17 goals for a better world, which are to be implemented by 2030. These goals have the potential to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change. Guided by the goals, #Art4GlobalGoals supports the announcement of the UN's 17 Global Goals for sustainable development. The artist Stefan Szczesny artistically interpreted the UN's 17 goals for an exclusive limited edition using premium recycled paper from Koehler Paper.
The CDU MP and member of the Thuringian state parliament, Christian Tischner, the mayor of Greiz, Alexander Schulze, and Nico Overkott, artstar Verlag, opened the permanent exhibition Sailing#Art4GlobalGoals at the Koehler Paper site in Greiz on September 12, 2024. The 17 motifs by Stefan Szczesny were ceremoniously installed at various locations at the site. As a collage, they also form the cover illustration of this P3 issue.
The high-resolution scans of the works of art were made with a CS220ST-FineArt / 2004-1200 scanner from Cruse Spezialmaschinen GmbH in Wachtberg (Germany). The images were used with the kind permission and support of all those involved.
