What makes the Gmund Award special every year is the sheer number of international entries. This year, projects were submitted from 28 countries, including many European nations, as well as Japan, China, Australia and many others. On 29 April 2026, the Gmund Award 2026 was presented at the paper mill at Lake Tegernsee. In front of around 400 guests, the winners took to the stage to receive their awards from owner Florian Kohler.
